Giwuq

ITALIANO
I Giwuq sono l’altra etnia di Ruwwu. E sono i “cattivi”.
Sono pochissimi, vivono sottoterra e di loro in effetti non si sa molto.
Non sono assolutamente potenti, anche se sono abbastanza bravi a combattere. Ma sono troppo pochi per essere pericolosi.
Durante la dittatura, prima che Yuki [link] diventasse regina, il re aveva rinunciato a combatterli perché lo reputava inutile: era praticamente impossibile stanarli e quindi una perdita di tempo, e non rappresentavano nessun pericolo perché le rare volte che tentavano di attaccarlo, il re era talmente ben protetto da respingerli senza problemi.
Quando Yuki è salita al potere, i Giwuq hanno cercato subito di attaccarla perché temevano potesse essere una dittatrice crudele come il re precedente. Non hanno nemmeno PROVATO a conoscerla: l’hanno attaccata a priori! Yuki ha fatto di tutto per cercare di far capire loro che la storia era cambiata, non c’era più la dittatura, e lei era una regina “buona”, ma non c’è stato verso…
L’hanno aiutata quando un mostro ha cercato di distruggere Ruwwu (l’hanno aiutata per difendere il pianeta, non certo per difendere lei), ma poi sono tornati a essere ostili.
Quindi Yuki, a malincuore, ha adottato verso i Giwuq la stessa politica del re precedente: non li attacca e si limita a difendersi quando loro attaccano lei. Ma questo la fa soffrire: considera anche i Giwuq come suoi sudditi e vorrebbe che fossero amici. Soltanto che comunicare con loro è impossibile!
Non si sa esattamente dove vivono, né quanti siano, né se abbiano una sorta di re. Assomigliano ai Ruwwuniani classici (come Boman [link] , ad esempio) ma sono più magri, con le orecchie un po’ diverse, e si nascondono con dei cappucci.
L’unico Giwuq con cui Yuki è riuscita a comunicare è stato Rop, un gran bravo vecchietto, cresciuto tra i Ruwwuniani non si sa perché. Ma dopo la battaglia contro il mostro Rop è tornato a vivere con la sua gente e non lo si è più visto.

Giwuqs are the other Ruwwunian ethnic group. And they are “evil”.
They are very few, they live in underground and actually we don’t know a lot about them.
They absolutely aren’t powerful, even if they are quite clever fighters. But they are too few to be dangerous.
During dictatorship, before Yuki [link] became the queen, the king renounced to fight them because he thought it was useless: finding them was very hard and it made him waste time, and they weren’t really dangerous because when, very rarely, they attacked the king, he was so good protect by his bodyguards that he was immediately able to repel their attack.
When Yuki became the queen, Giwuqs without delay attacked her because they was afraid about she could be a cruel tyrant too. They neither TRIED to know her: they immediately attacked her! Yuki tried to made them understand now the situation was different, she wasn’t a tyrant, she was a “good” queen, but they didn’t care…
They helped her when a monster attacked Ruwwu (they helped her to defend Ruwwu, not to defend her), but at the end of the battle they went on being hostile.
So Yuki, against her will, decided to do the same of the previous king: she doesn’t attack them, and she defends herself when they attack her. But this makes her suffer: she wishes they could be friend. But talking with them is impossible!
We don’t know where exactly they live, neither how much they are, nor if they have a sort of king. They look like classical Ruwwunians (like Boman [link] , for example) but they are more slim, with different ears and they hide themselves with hoods.
Yuki was able to communicate with only one Giwuq, Rop, a good old man grown up with Ruwwunians, we don’t know why, but after the battle against the monster he came back to live with his people.
